AV1 re-encoding without quality loss
The AV1 video codec yields better-looking and smaller videos compared to H265, the incumbent in the domain of video on the Internet. I wanted to re-encode my video collection in AV1 to save storage space but without losing quality in the process. Turns out it isn't simple and I'm exploring solutions.

I'm trying to find out how to re-encode videos with AV1 to save storage without reducing quality, even in places where AV1 and SVT-AV1 usually have troubles. There are a few corner cases which make things more difficult and I'll try to solve them.
